Instructions With Screenies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.)open up packscape and do file/open



2.)open up the file z_FLmodsfinal.pk3 (path = C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\noquarter)



3.)double click on the sounds folder - then click on the weapons folder - click on the grenade folder - then click and drag the gren_expl.wav to your desktop


4.)Open up audacity (If u do not have the site to download it is http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ u will also need the extension which u can download here http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/)

-Install audacity/ and then unzip the libmp3lame-win-3.97 to your desktop/open audacity/click edit preferences and then go to file formats and click find library its gonna ask u to find lam_enc.dll click yes and the folder is on your desktop open the folder and click on the file lam_enc.dll and walla you are almost ready to go








5.)click edit preferences audio I/O and make sure channel is mono 1 next click on quality under default make sure its on 16bit not any other next click file formats make it and click under uncompressed export format and make sure its at WAV (microsft 8 bit PCM)





6.)open a file that you would like to make the grenade sound like for example if you chose like a rocket exploding click and open that, if the file is bigger than u want u can always go in and copy and cut just the part that u want to use of that file




7.)after you have copied that file or cut the file that u wanted to use close that window do project new then click on new audio track


8.)copy and paste your sound in here


9.)now delete the old gren_expl.wav that is on your desktop i basically used that so you would know what to rename the file

10.)now click file export as wav and save it as gren_expl.wav to your desktop



11.)now open pakscape and click on start a new file make a folder called sound make a folder inside of sound called weapons then make a folder in weapons called grenade open grenade and click and drag your file in there







12.)now click file save as then save it as whatever u want to call your mod(make sure and add the extension .pk3 to the end of it or it will not work)



13.)Congragulations you have now made your own grenade sound

well to be able to make the noise u will have to add it to the server which i will give acess to certain people u will upload your mod there and then go into server and test it by of course throwing a nade or shooting your gun w/e u decided to do
